4/ You will see our Fixed Commission £395.00 

5/ At this point we request that you pay the Japanese Yen FOB price before the car is exported out of Japan this is normally comes to about 50% of the vehicles total value when landed here in the Uk

The Next Payment is made to the UK Based Shipping Agent on arrival at the UK port Five to Six weeks later, This is to pay for, Sipping Charges,  Duty + Vat, Port Fees.

6/ You will also be asked, Do you wish to be introduced to a Specialist UK Customs and RO RO Vehicle Shipping Agent [Yes or No]

7/ After reading the Terms and Conditions you will be asked to click the Confirm Order Button

8/ You will now receive two instant reply emails, One of the Order Form including our Bank details for the transfer of funds and second a copy of our Terms of Business

9/ The Vehicles Invoice, Bills of Laden and Japanese Export Certificate will be sent out to you direct,,,

Or at your request,,,To your Appointed Shipping Agent by international courier 

Japautoagent Limited Recommends that customers should appoint a independent Shipping Agents to supervise the shipment of there vehicle from the docks in Japan to a port of your choice in the UK, 

Receiving and making payments on the customers behalf for Shipping Cost, Port Handling Fees, and HMRC for Import Duty @ 10% and VAT @ 15% 

Some Agents can also assist with all aspects of importation of your vehicle, including arrange for SVA testing (if required) and also the vehicles registration at the DVLA,

Should you not wish to collect your vehicle from the UK port yourself they can arrange for in land transport to an address of your choice, If requested,

If your vehicle is over ten years old, then all that is needed is an MOT before it is registered which will involve fitting of a fog lamp and conversion of the Speedo and in some cases the fitting of side repeating indicators.

Vehicle Conversion IVA / MOT Testing, And Registration Service at the DVLA,

Vehicles over ten years old,   Only require Fog and Speedo Conversion and MOT test, Prior to being Taxed and Registered at the DVLA.

Vehicles under ten years old,  Require Fog and Speedo Conversion Plus an IVA test and MOT Test Prior to being Taxed and Registered at the DVLA.

To simplify the Registration process we are happy to Introduce customers to a number of specialist IVA and MOT testing Companies located around the UK 

They can also provide a Full on the Road, Vehicle Registration Service at the DVLA

You can arrange for your car to be collect from the bonded customs yard at ether Bristol, Southampton, or Immingham, Ports as the car arrives off the ship and cleared customs,

They will book the IVA test, Do all the conversion work needed Fog Light and Speedo Re Calibration Klm to Miles and complete the test in normally 7 to 10 working days

A guide to the cost of an IVA test would be around £575.00 inc the conversion work and the VOSA test fee £199

Alow for MOT £45.00 Plus the DVLA registration fee £55.00

All that you need to do is collect your vehicle when it is ready Taxed and Registered, Approx 16 working days in all

Your Shipping Agent can also arrange for the Delivery of your vehicle to your door.
